Over on Liverpool Road, just off Deansgate, Cibo have been showcasing some seriously good dishes since re-opening at the beginning of 2021, from wood-fired pizzas, to bolognaise that’s been cooked for over 8 hours, and not forgetting their spectacular Penne Reggiano – which is flambéed with cognac in a huge parmesan cheese wheel right in front of you at your table!

And now word has reached our ears about something very special just up the road at the former Home Sweet Home site at the Great Northern Warehouse. Yep, Cibo Manchester are set to open up a brand-new location there soon – and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before.

Walking through their doors, you’ll be greeted by a massive flower display, which leads onto a mesmerising light feature reaching onto the high ceilings above.

A bigger location means that Cibo can offer up a bigger, more diverse and authentic Italian menu, with regular quarterly changes and new dishes, and a welcome return to all of your Cibo favourites, including that infamous Cheese Wheel Pasta.

They’ll also be introducing a brand-new Italian-style Bottomless Brunch on the weekends, so expect plenty of Prosecco to flow, alongside a dedicated Italian brunch menu.

There’s no news on the official opening date of the new Cibo Manchester restaurant, so follow their socials and keep up to date with them there…
