Thursday 17th March marks St Patrick’s Day, a day to drown yourself in various shades of green and the refreshing thickness of a freshly poured Guinness, all while tapping your toes to traditional Irish music and preparing yourself for one of the worst hangovers of the year. It’s always worth it, though.

The cultural and religious holiday is celebrated annually, and remembers the life of St Patrick who lived during the fifth century and is the patron saint of Ireland and its national apostle.

He was born in Roman Britain, but was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave at the age of 16. He later escaped, but returned to Ireland and was credited with bringing Christianity to its people.

So what better way to celebrate the legend than drinking pint after pint of delicious stout?! And Crazy Pedro’s Bridge Street is making this even easier this year, as they’ve added Guinness to their Bottomless Brunch drinks menu for one day only.

For £25pp you can get bottomless pizza AND booze for 90 minutes, which includes bottomless slices, Hooch, Frozen Margs, Prosecco and, for St Patrick’s Day only, bottomless Guinness!

The deal is available until 9pm and you can either pre-book, or the bar always accepts walk-ins, so if you stumble in at 7pm in desperate need of something to line your stomach with, they’ll try and accommodate you the best they can!

Pedro’s has also teamed up with Jameson to create some great whiskey-based cocktails that’ll also be available on the day.

Rumour has it that the sunshine is going to rear its head again for St Patrick’s day, too, so if you time it well, you can bask in the glory of Bridge Street’s sun, sitting in Pedro’s beer garden washing down slices of pizza with velvety smooth pints of Guinness.

Mulligans is also just around the corner, so you’ll really be in the best location to spend this year’s St Patrick’s Day.
