Hospitality is going through a very difficult time at the moment, with around 2,500 empty job roles in Greater Manchester alone, a combination of factors set on by not just the COVID-19 pandemic but also Brexit.

However, as with most things, this does present plenty of opportunities, especially for people who are actively looking for and enjoy hospitality work – which is one of the most rewarding and exciting industries to get yourself into at the moment.

Coming out of lockdown has re-invigorated everyone, from customers to businesses alike, and so there’s an unparalleled level of new openings, new menus and new ventures to get involved in, and best of all – because of all of the vacancies – pay is excellent and perks are everywhere as venues try to attract the best people for the job.

Here’s the part where I tell you about Ezra & Gil’s NEW location on Peter Street, a venue that will have it’s own dedicated PANCAKE MENU, essentially becoming the city’s new pancake house, while still serving up those well-known and well-loved Ezra & Gil brunch and lunch dishes.

They’re set to open up this September, and as such they’re looking for some wonderful members of staff who want to be the forefront of their brunch-related endeavours.

Working with an already well established coffee and food independent already has it’s perks, where you’ll have the opportunity to grow along with the company, and being involved in the opening of a brand new venue is a rather exciting concept – especially when you consider the amazing new ‘Ezra & Gil 2.0‘ menu that they’re offering.

They’re looking for Experienced Baristas, Commis Chefs, Chef De Partie, Front of House, Kitchen Porters and Runners, so even if you don’t have extensive experience in the industry, there’s a position there for you to grow, develop and learn all the skills you need to move up the ladder.

Other staff benefits include; 50% OFF food, sociable working hours, uniform provided, city centre location and an attractive rate of pay based on experience (which can be discussed on an individual basis.)
