A key change for this season is the introduction of a no‑phones policy in the intimate Concourse shows, with phone cameras stickered at entry and collected venue footage shared post‑event. It follows a broader trend of clubs encouraging reduced phone use to encourage immersive live experiences.

WHP plans to install signage reminding guests to limit phone use across the venue, supported by professional photo and video archives made available at the end of each night.

Sam Kandel, co‑founder of The Warehouse Project, said the aim is ‘to take the clubbing experience back to its core’ and offer shared memories via in‑house content rather than phone footage.

WHP has also announced some exciting new upgrades at Depot Mayfield, including proper flush toilets replacing the dreaded portaloos, a new entrance route via Temperance Street, improved viewing platforms, and enhanced VIP mezzanine zones. The organisers expect around 80 % of the new lavs to be ready by season opening.
