Whether you’re a seasoned player, giving padel a go for the first time or just looking for somewhere central to meet friends, The Pollen Club is pitching itself as a hub for fitness, socialising and community, as well as somewhere to entertain clients without defaulting to another meeting room. It’s also right next to sauna facilities by The Good Sauna – win win.

Manchester Padel Cub out in Cheadle has four covered courts, meaning Manchester weather shouldn’t get in the way too often, alongside one outdoor court and two Touch training courts for working on technique away from a full game. There’s a cafe and workspace on site, plus a fitness area and physiotherapy facilities, making it easy to hang around before or after a game. Players can book courts casually, join regular socials or take things a little more seriously with coaching led by former world top 10 player Leo Padovani.

Padel Parx at Wigan’s Cotton Works features two terracotta-coloured doubles courts, alongside a dedicated singles court. As well as giving more experienced players the chance to go one-on-one, the smaller court is designed to work particularly well for beginners, younger players and anyone looking for a slightly less physically demanding introduction to the game. They regularly hold ‘padel and a pint’ evenings with The Three Mills pub too.

Sitting right in front of Life Leisure Grand Central, Stockport Exchange is operated by the Life Leisure team and adds another option to Greater Manchester’s rapidly growing padel scene. Players can book in for a game and hire racquets too, so it’s great for absolute beginners. Handily located for the station and the town centre.

Billed as the largest indoor padel club in the city, Pure Padel Manchester in Cheetham Hill is home to six brand new panoramic courts, giving players somewhere properly weatherproof to get a game in whatever the time of year. There’s also a cafe and a bar, and we can’t get over how great this place looks. Just the thing if you’re located in or north of the city centre.

A more luxury option – expect to pay about £40 for an hour – you can now play padel at Dunham Forest Golf Club near Altrincham. Overlooking the first tee, 18th green, driving range and 11th hole, the courts are built for year-round play and fitted with LED lighting, so you can keep going well into the evening. They’re open to the public rather than just golf club members, with court bookings available through Playtomic.

Carbon Padel Club in Gorton is going big, with a whopping 17 indoor courts making it the largest indoor padel club in the UK. The purpose-built venue has 12 doubles courts alongside five singles courts, all indoors, so the weather doesn’t get a say in whether you’re playing or not. Their changing rooms and cafe facilities are top-tier too, making this great for anyone looking to seriously get into the game.

Located at one of the country’s most prestigious tennis clubs, both members and non-members can play padel at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club in Didsbury. There are two covered courts, meaning games can carry on year-round without a sudden downpour bringing proceedings to an early finish, and you can choose form 60 or 90 minute bookings. If you’re going to play padel, you may as well do it in style.

One of the original cool kids on the padel scene, Club de Padel was originally located at the base of the Deansgate Towers. Positioned around being for the next generation of player of one of the world’s fastest growing sports, it’s set to relocate to a new city centre location in 2026. We eagerly await to see where.
