An immersive journey through the mind of street art icon Banksy is coming to Manchester.

The global exhibition The Mystery of Banksy – A Genius Mind opens at Depot Mayfield on 13 March 2026 and runs until 5 July 2026.

Visitors will explore more than 200 works – including graffiti, photographs, sculptures, video installations and prints – recreated for this UK premiere show in the city centre.

From the world famous Girl With Balloon’ to a ‘Banksified’ London Underground carriage and a seven-foot elephant installation, the exhibition brings the artist’s most iconic moments to life. In previous cities across Europe the show has welcomed over 3.5 million visitors.

To mark its arrival, the exhibition landed last night with dramatic visuals: selected Banksy projected across Manchester’s landmarks.

Pre-sale early-bird tickets open on Friday 28 November. Standard adult tickets start at £22, concessions and free tickets for under-6s are also available.

The organisers have also paired this cultural event with philanthropy. The exhibition’s official charity partner is The Christie Charity, the specialist cancer centre in Manchester.

A dedicated artwork will be auctioned and ‘tap to donate’ points set up around the exhibition to raise funds for patients.

Louise Hadley, Chief Executive of The Christie Charity, says: “We are absolutely thrilled to be the chosen charity… this is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us and one that will ultimately benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.”

John Carrigan, Director of promoter Cartel Events Limited, said: “We’re excited to launch the ‘Mystery of Banksy’ in Manchester, the UK’s hub of modern culture… visitors can expect a spectacle of re-envisioned accessible artworks for all.”

The show promises to bring street-art rebellion to a former railway-turn-mail depot turned creative venue, right here in Manchester.
