Queen of rap Nicki Minaj has been confirmed as the latest artist playing Manchester’s new arena venue Co-op Live when it opens next year.

The star teased the news on social media last week, before officially announcing the Pink Friday 2 World Tour in an email to fans, confirming the string of UK and European dates, kicking off in Manchester on 25 May, 2024.

The Superbass hitmaker will then headline venues in Birmingham and London before dates in Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne and Berlin, marking it her largest tour to date.

The news follows the release of Minaj’s fifth studio album Pink Friday 2, which emerged last week and features the singles Super Freaky Girl and Ruby Red Da Sleeze.

It also includes collaborations with the likes of Drake, Billie Eilish, Lil Wayne and J Cole.

Minaj is the second show to be announced today, following the news that Slipknot will play on 17 December, 2024.

Alongside Minaj, there will be shows from the likes of Take That, Keane, Olivia Rodrigo, Elbow, Eric Clapton, Barry Manilow, Pet Shop Boys, The Killers and Liam Gallagher.

Co-op Live presale tickets

Co-op members get access to pre-sale tickets to Nicki Minaj on Wednesday 13 December at 9am. General sale tickets will be available from 9am on Friday 15 December.
