Taking over the former Carphone Warehouse unit on Stockport Retail Park, GDK will host 66 covers, creating 25 new jobs for the area.

Using lean succulent beef and chicken fillets imported directly from Germany plus fresh, local veg each kebab is prepared daily with special Doner Kebab bread and ‘secret sauces’.

Kamal Khan, Operations Manager, said: “We are delighted to be bringing German Doner Kebab to Stockport. We’ve been looking for the perfect site in Greater Manchester for a while, and the unit on Stockport Retail Park is a great fit for us.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming new customers for takeaway and collection initially, and for a sit-down meal when restrictions permit. We hope German Doner Kebab will offer families and groups of friends something new and different – delicious, fresh, healthy kebabs, with something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.”

The menu contains all halal food plus vegetarian options and extra nibbles and fries.

GDK has also applied for a late-night license to open until 3am. The restaurant will open with takeaway and collection available from March 4th 2021.
