Salford nightclub The White Hotel are launching a festival in Blackpool

The first wave of acts to be announced includes Factory Floor, Blackhaine and The Caretaker

Enigmatic Salford nightclub The White Hotel are launching a festival – THE BLACK LIGHTS – in Blackpool in June 2026.

The three-day festival runs from Friday 26 – Sunday 28 June across various Blackpool venues, including iconic locations like the Tower Ballroom, the Pleasure Beach and the Blackpool Opera House.

The announcement marks a decade of the nightclub, which is known for its alternative and unpredictable programming.

Featuring live acts, DJs and other unexpeceted performances, the first of those added to the lineup include DJ Flight & Kode9, Moin, Mia Koden, A Guy Called Gerald, Factory Floor, Jawnino, Blackhaine, The Caretaker, Ceephax Acid Crew, Joanne Robertson, Space Afrika and Evian Christ.

Elsewhere, Mica Levi has been commissioned to compose a piece for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, and 2K88, Lauren Duffus, Rainy Miller and Bianca Scout will perform a show originally commissioned by Unsound and the British Council. The Poulton-Le-Fylde Brass Band and The Commission for New and Old Art are also set to appear.

Early bird tickets have already sold out, but the first wave of general release goes on sale on Friday 21 November at 10am.
