Banish the New Year blues, support Manchester’s hospitality heroes and enjoy a mountain of deals and offers at the best dining spots in the city. January is only dull if you want it to be.

So without further ado…

Hawksmoor: £19 steak and side

£19 Steak & Sides returns for January at the award-winning Hawksmoor. For £19, the menu includes 35-day dry-aged British rump steak and one side, with a choice of English lettuce salad, butter lettuce and herb salad, sweet potato or Hawksmoor’s beef-dripping chips. The offer is available for tables of up to six guests Monday – Saturday 12-5.30pm, with availability varying by restaurant. 

Circolo Popolare: December diners eat for free in January

Dine at Circolo Popolare Manchester in December and receive a free lunch in January. December diners will receive ‘Burrata Bucks’, legal tender bank notes which can be redeemed for one free lunch in January. Offer includes one antipasti and one main, free or charge. Available to claim Monday to Friday 12-3pm. Applies to bookings of two or more people.

Chotto Matte: £50 Nikkei dining experience

The Love January Sharing Menu offers guests a journey through Nikkei cuisine, priced at £50 per person, celebrating the Japanese and Peruvian cuisine Chotto Matte has become known for. The limited-time menu brings together signature favourites and exclusive new dishes, designed to brighten the coldest month. Highlights include Yellowtail crispy sushi, king oyster mushroom tostadas and the dragon roll, alongside mains such as pollo peruano, finished off with the signature warm cinnamon churros. The menu is available Monday – Friday, all day, until the end of January.

YES: 2 for £10 ‘fancy’ drinks and half price slices

Loads of different offers at YES this month. There’s 2 for £10 on ‘fancy drinks’ and £3.95 pints of Amstel and Murphy’s, all day every day. Between 12-6pm every day there’s half price pizza slices (starting from £1.95) and they’re also offering a £5 meal deal. Pop down for details.

Evelyn’s: 30% off new dinner menu

Monday to Thursday in January, Evelyn’s are celebrating their new dinner menu with 30% off. They’re known for their outrageously pretty dishes, so this is your chance to try them, with a serious discount. Offer applies to bookings only.

Volta: 3 small plates for 18

Volta’s three small plates for £18 offer is already much-loved among Didsbury foodies. They’re extending it in January, so yo can enjoy the offer all day and evening Monday – Thursday, and 12-5.30pm on Fridays. The line-up is extensive, with dishes like hispi cabbage and black garlic, burrata with pickled plums and deep fried goats cheese. Booking not required, but it is advised.

Lucky Cat: £55 tasting experience

From 6 January, Lucky Cat Manchester introduces the £55 Lucky Edition menu, a tasting experience that showcases the restaurant’s bold Asian-inspired flavours, refined presentation, and signature elevated, chic energy, Lucky Edition is designed to kick off the new year in style. Available to tables of two or more, the menu begins with a complimentary yuzu bellini. Guests then select one dish from each section, enjoying standout plates such as Lucky Cat’s famous GFC (Gordon’s Fried Chicken), flat iron steak with Thai chimichurri, smoked BBQ aubergine, and many more fan favourites. Climat: 20% off

A deal with a view, the excellent Climat will be offering 20% off your entire bill all through January. Excellent cookery, locally sourced ingredients, and a cellar full of great wines.

El Gato Negro: Three tapa for £20

Manchester’s award-winning El Gato Negro is kicking off the New Year with a selection of unmissable January dining offers, designed to bring guests together over exceptional food. Throughout January, guests can enjoy three dishes for £20, available all day Sunday to Thursday, and Fridays from 12-5pm as well as £6 sangria and spritzes. The perfect excuse to savour signature small plates, share favourites with friends, or discover something new from the restaurant’s seasonal menu. Caravan: 50% off breakfast and brunch with BARRY’S

Caravan has teamed up with BARRY’s to kickstart the year. Book a class at BARRY’s any time in January and you’ll get 50% off breakfast or brunch food at Caravan to refuel a tired body. Or flip it the other way: book brunch Caravan us and you’ll receive a complimentary introductory BARRY’s bootcamp class to kick-start the new year.

They’re also launching Six for £6: a proper January mood-booster. Choose from six iconic breakfast dishes and six Caravan all-day favourites, only for £6 each. Available Monday to Friday throughout January and February. Plus there’s a Sip for £6 offer too: Six signature Caravan cocktails, are available for only £6. Ramona: Marguary with £1.25 slices

⁠Marguary is BACK. Dance into 2026 with joy in your heart, pizza in your belly and a margarita in your glass. Enjoy Margherita slices for just £1.25, with classic and frozen margaritas for only £6, throughout January and beyond. Available every Wednesday – Friday, 4-7pm and Sunday 12-5pm. La Bandera: 50% off tapas

La Bandera are offering 50% off tapas from 12 – 30 of January, valid Sunday – Friday only. Booking code JAN50MF must be used when making the reservation. A minimum purchase of one drink per person is required. The maximum table size is six guests and the offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

Louis: 30% off food

Louis, the Italian-American bar and restaurant in Spinningfields, are offering 30% off food, from 1 January – 8 February. Offer available all day Sunday to Thursday, and until 4.45pm on Friday. Certain dishes aren’t included, and the offer doesn’t apply to the Brunch, Evening and All Day menus, so check with your server for details. Ensure you book in advance.

Stretford Canteen: Two courses £23, three courses £28

The wonderful Stretford Canteen will be running its brilliant value prix fixe menu through December until 31 January, with two courses at £23 and three at £28. We’re talking hearty dishes like black pudding with apples, a classic bœuf bourguignon pie and a dark chocolate mousse to send you home happy.

Bundobust: Two dishes and a beer for £12.50

Weekdays from 12-4pm you can enjoy two of Bundobust’s most loved dishes and a pint for just £12.50, including the new collaboration with Cloudwater Brewery – Kopra AF DDH Pale Ale. You can pick from favourite dishes like okra fries, tarka dhal and bundo chaat. A crowd-pleaser for sure.

Firehouse: 40% off food

It’s still cold, it’s still dark… but on the bright side, everything from the Slow Fires Kitchen at Firehouse is 40% off. Get peri peri, plates, pita and all the good stuff every Wednesday – Friday from 4-9pm from the 7 to 30 January.

Pip: 50% off

Throughout January 2026, guests can enjoy 50% off food from Monday to Wednesday, providing the perfect opportunity to experience Pip’s celebrated seasonal cooking at exceptional value. The offer applies to the current menu which continues into the New Year and showcases the finest North West produce through comforting seasonal dishes. The January offers runs from Monday 5 until Wednesday 28 January 2026. Valid every Monday to Wednesday with 50% off food only, excluding drinks.

The Cut & Craft: Free fizz

Introducing Wet January at The Cut & Craft – time to truly indulge when the rest of the world is drying off. Guests who dine at The Cut & Craft throughout the month of January, will enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz. Available anytime of the day, seven days a week. Simply add ‘Wet January’ to your booking notes. Not drinking alcohol? You can swap your fizz for a nosecco.

Black Cat Club: £5 food, drink and gaming

Black Cat Club Manchester is serving up serious value this season with a lineup of £5 food and drink offers, making it the ultimate destination for midweek fun. From Sunday to Thursday, guests can enjoy the £5 menu, featuring loaded fries, pizzas and nachos. The drinks offering will also feature £5 margaritas and frozen cocktails, £5 pints, and £5 spritzes served all day. Adding to the experience, Black Cat Club will also offer 60-minutes of gaming for – you guessed it – £5.

The Blues Kitchen: 50% off food

Kicking off the new year in true Blues Kitchen style, the legendary live music hotspot has announced a winter-warming deal this January. From New Year’s Day until 31 January, guests can enjoy 50% off the full food menu, all day, from Sunday through to Wednesday.

Fenix: 30% off

FENIX, the glamorous Spinningfields bar and restaurant, are offering 30% off food, from 1 January – 8 February. Offer available all day Sunday – Thursday, and until 4.45pm on Friday. Certain dishes aren’t included, and the offer doesn’t apply to the Brunch, Evening and All Day Menus, so be sure to check with your server for details. Make sure to book in advance, too.

Cardinal Rule: £5 breakfast sandwiches and free sides

The much-loved American biscuit spot are doing £5 breakfast sandwiches (veggie and non-veggie available) all day every day, there’s also a free side with the purchase or any of their iconic chicken biscuit (again, vegan and veggie options included) on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Go and see them inside Northern Monk and get stuffed, frankly.

Sexy Fish: £25 set menu

Sexy Fish Manchester kick off the new year with signature flair, unveiling the £25 ‘Sexy January Set Menu’ – a bold dining experience designed to bring ‘warmth, glamour, and a little mischief’ to winter nights. Available between 12-8pm Monday-Friday, 12-6pm on Saturdays and 5-8pm on Sundays, the Sexy January Set Menu invites guests to curate their own two-course experience, choosing from the likes of salt and pepper squid, green dragon maki, salmon ceviche and more, along with a complimentary miso soup.

Dishoom: Roll a 6 for your meal on the house

Throughout January guests will have the chance to win their entire bill for free at Dishoom Manchester. All day between Monday to Friday, you can ask your server to ‘roll the dice’, and instead of a bill Dishoom will bring over a board and a dice. If you then roll a six, they will take care of the entire bill. Good luck!

Canto: 40% off

Canto, the vibrant Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the heart of Ancoats is starting the new year with weekday offers designed to brighten the Manchester winter. From Tuesday to Friday, guests can enjoy 40% off food, as well as 40% off sangria and spritzes – the perfect midweek treat for after-work drinks, relaxed lunches, or dinner with friends.

The Lead Station: 50% off food

Chorlton institution The Lead Station are offering 50% off food, Monday – Friday from 4.30-7pm. It’s a maximum eight people per booking, online bookings only, and you cannot use in conjunction with any other offer. There’s a £5 supplement for steak.

Maray: 50% off veggie and vegan dishes

Middle Eastern-inspired Maray bring back their Green January offering with 50% off vegetarian and vegan dishes at the restaurant – including their signature Disco Cauliflower. This offer applies Monday to Thursday throughout January, desserts and drinks are not included. Available for tables of up to nine people.

Tender at Stock Exchange: Lunch offer

Enjoy Tender’s exceptional cooking for an exceptional price. There’s one course for £19.50, two for £25.50 or three for £27.50. This lunchtime offer will run from 7 to 31 January and be available Wednesdays to Saturdays only, from 12-2:30pm.

Elnecot: 30% off

Elnecot are offering 30% off your total bill Monday to Saturday, including their bottomless drinks on a Saturday brunch. This is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer, and must be booked online, with the comment ‘Jan30’ added in the notes. They reserve the right to change, exclude or remove the offer at any time.

The Refuge: £35 set menu

This January, Refuge is taking away the stress of deciding what to order with ‘The House Edit’ – a £35 set menu designed to feel like the ultimate picky tea. Available Monday – Saturday throughout the month, the menu brings together a generous spread of Refuge favourites, from sweet potato hummus to Korean fried chicken and pork belly. It’s relaxed, flavour-packed dining made easy, you just need to book in advance.

K2 Karaoke: 10% off drinks

This January, K2 Karaoke in Chinatown is turning up the volume with 10% off all drinks, Sunday to Thursday. Whether you’re singing solo or with a squad of 40+, it’s one way to avoid January blues, or celebrate a belated Christmas do.

House of Fu: £10 ramen bowls

House of Fu – the brightly-coloured ramen and karaoke bar – are doing £10 bowls of ramen on weekdays. If you’re opting for their karaoke booking, it’ll come with a complimentary £50 bar tab throughout January, and that’s every day, including weekends. Make sure to book in advance.

BAB: 50% off food

There’s 50% off at NQ posh kebab spot BAB every Monday to Friday in Jan, starting from 5 Jan. Tables must be booked at least one hour in advance, and it can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer or vouchers. Offer excludes lunch menu BABs and is only valid with the purchase of a drink per person. Offer is valid for groups of up to six guests.

The Pearl: £35 roasts and £5 corkage

Prestwich’s The Pearl are delivering the dining treasures this January. Corkage is just £5 on tables booked for 5pm, Thursday – Saturday, while on Sundays there’s an offer on their stand-out Sunday roast. It’s £35 for two courses and £42 for three courses throughout the month. Be sure to book in advance.

Band on the Wall: £10 pizza & pint

At Band on the Wall it’s a pizza and a pint for £10, all month long. The offer includes a margherita pizza and a pint of Brooklyn pilsner, and you can add pizza toppings for additional cost.

Kennedy’s Irish Bar: Cheap pints and prosecco

Kennedy’s – the raucous Irish bars in Altrincham and Didsbury – have a whole host of January deals on offer. There’s £4.95 pints on Monday – Thursday before 7pm, it’s two for £12 on spritzes, six baby Guinnesses are £20, and on Fridays, bottles of prosecco are £18 before 7pm. Take your pick.

Rigatoni’s: Various January offers

Much-loved Alty pasta kitchen Rigatoni’s are celebrating with ‘7 reasons to visit’, with different offers throughout January including 20% off takeaways. Check their socials for more details. We’re intrigued…

Bondi Bowls: Bone broth & bowl from £13.95

Try a warming cup of slow-simmered bone broth with your favourite Bondi bowl for the ultimate New Year reset. Shack NQ: 50% off

Shack NQ are offering 50% off food Monday-Thursday. No bookings needed. There’s also free gaming Fridays (darts, pool and ping-pong) no bookings needed, availability dependent upon the day. Feel free to book ahead to guarantee your time slot.

Italiana Fifty Five: 30% off food

Back with another delicious month-long discount, Italiana Fifty Five at Great Northern has reintroduced its 30% a la carte menu offer during January. Steaks, pizzas, pastas – the lot.

Junkyard Golf Culb: Happy Hour all the time

Junkyard Golf Club are making January a permanent happy hour, all day every day. That means £6 cocktails, £4 pints and £3.50 mocktails. There’s also 50% off late night golf (including unlimited golf) after 9pm every single night.

Bunny’s Karaoke: Free private booth hire

Bunny’s Karaoke are doing what they do best with free private karaoke booth hire, Sunday to Thursday, all month long.

The Brasserie at Harvey Nichols: 30% off your bill

The Brasserie at Harvey Nichols are offering 30% off the entire bill when dining – including drinks. The offer will be available all day, everyday throughout January. The menu will be refreshed with some New Year dining options, too.

The Anthologist: Lobster & steak offer

Banish the January blues with The Anthologist’s new weekday ‘Reef, Beef & Bubbles’ offer. The Cut and Craft: Steak and chips for £19

Champagne, steak and seafood restaurant & bar The Cut & Craft are kicking off the new year with the introduction of its ‘Steak & Chips for £19’ offer. Minimum 60 day aged rump steak served with roasted tomato and skin-on-chips for £19. Available Monday to Friday 11.30am-4pm on the lunch set menu. MAYA: 50% off

MAYA are offering 50% off Sunday roasts throughout January. In fact, MAYA is offering 50% off your total food bill throughout the full month of January when ordering from the main menu (lunch and dinner), valid all day Sunday – Friday. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with bottomless drinks experiences.

Muse Bar: 50% off

Situated in the heart of Uppermill, Muse is a stylish, world-inspired restaurant and bar known for its vibrant atmosphere, fusion-influenced small plates, cocktails, outdoor seating and cosy interior – perfect for anything from a relaxed lunch to a lively evening out. The Ivy: two courses for £19.17

This January and beyond, The Ivy is expanding its popular 1917 menu, which is a two course set menu for £19.17. It now features more dishes, like duck liver parfait, chicken robata skewers, wild mushroom and truffle linguine, pan-fried sea bream and minute steak. The 1917 menu will be available from Monday 5 January until Saturday 28 February, excluding Valentines day.

Gaucho: Two courses for £10

Gaucho, the renowned steakhouse, is launching an exclusive £10 two-course lunch menu this January. There’s a choice of starters including chunky minestrone or mushrooms on toast with truffle oil, followed by a selection of three main courses: grilled chicken paillard with chimichurri, pan-fried haddock with tomatoes, or aubergine Milanese. You must book in advance in order to redeem the offer.

Yard & Coop: 50% off takeaways

Northern Quarter fried chicken spot Yard & Coop are offering up to 50% off takeaway bundles for one, two and four people. Choose from the likes of a buttermilk fried chicken burger, or katsu, buffao and French dipped versions, will all the necessary extras. That means £6, £12 and £22 for one, two and four diners respectively.

HOP: £5 mushroom pho

At HOP on Market Street you can enjoy a satisfying bowl of pulled mushroom pho for £5, available 5 – 18 January. It’s an aromatic broth with Fable’s magically meaty pulled mushrooms, flat rice noodles, red onion, chillies and spring onion. El Kabron: 50% off tapas

There’s 30% off food at Blue Eyed Panda every Monday – Thursday, from the 5 – 26 January. Just quote ‘January 26’ when you order for takeaway, or 20% when you dine in. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offers, and not applicable on steak, seafood or dim sum.

Society: £10 mains and £5 drinks

Food hall Society are offering £10 meals and £5 pints on Monday – Friday, between 4-6pm throughout January. Traders include Slap & Pickle, Manzoku, Noi Quattro, El Piloto and Yoki Social Table, each offering one of their mains as part of the deal. Social Hour drinks include a pint of Vocation Brewery’s Crush Hour or Hilltop Lager.

Gusto: £20 ribeye steak

Throughout January, Gusto are running a sale featuring a bespoke menu with some of thier guest-favourite main courses at up to 30% off. This includes dishes such as ribeye steak for £20 (usually £32.50) and pasta dishes from £10. The offer is available all day, all week, excluding Saturdays.

Forbici: Win 50% off

Forbici is letting diners play Rock, Paper, Scissors against staff to slash their bill by 50% . Every day from 3-5pm, diners receive a golden invitation with the bill. Win one round of Rock, Paper, Scissors and the receipt gets literally cut in half using the pizza scissors already on the table. Lose? You pay as normal (and live with the shame).
